Wye Mountain
We went to Wye Mountain to see all of the daffodils on Sunday, March 16, 2008. They were so beautiful! It was a little chilly, but we still had a great time. The kids loved picking the flowers and we got some great pictures!

The Big Snow!
Well, it was March 7, 2008, but we finally got our winter snow for the year! Alex and Corbin were both so excited and wanted to be outside playing in the snow from the time it started until it all melted! We had snow ball fights, we built a snowman, but the best part for Corbin was EATING IT! She absolutely loved it. Pop told them both not to eat any "yellow snow", kind-of as an inside joke with he and Mimi, but when Alex asked "Why?", Corbin quickly came back with, "Oh, Alex, because it's pee-pee in the snow." Pop laughed so hard he had to go sit down in the other room. She's definitely a mess. We did have so much fun playing in it. It's nice when it's the pretty snow without all of the ice that usually comes along with it!

Corbin Goes to a Tea Party!
Corbin's friend, Mary Grace Parsley turned 4 and she had a super fun tea party for all of the "little ladies". Corbin had the best time. They all got so dressed up and put on lipstick and blush. Some of the girls chose to wear a hat, but not Corbin, she didn't want to mess up her hair! She loved drinking the tea out of the china - she even held her pinky up when she took a drink. They had wonderful treats - Raspberry Tea with cream and sugar, chocolate soup, crackers, fruit-on-a-stick and lovely petit fors. All of the girls had a wonderful time and they are all dying to go back!

Alex's 7th Birthday
On February 10th, Alex turned 7 years old. We had a family party at the house on Saturday, February 2nd and then he had his big party at Millenium Bowl Bowling Alley on his birthday. He had such a great time at both parties. Most of his friends were able to come to the party and they all had so much fun together. I think even the adults had fun at this party!!!

Corbin Got Her Ears Pierced!
Corbin has been asking about getting her ears pierced for months now, so we finally gave in! Her friends Amelia, Olivia R., Marisol - they all have their ears pierced so she's been wanting earrings, too. Laurie worked Saturday and she pierced them for us. Poor Corbin - she had no idea what was coming. She didn't have a clue that it was something that actually hurt. She was fine by the time we walked out of there, though. Now she shows anyone and everyone those pretty little ears and talks about what a big girl she is!
Basketball
Alex loves playing basketball! He is on a team with several of his friends and they have so much fun. Anna and Vincent's dad, Travis, is the coach and Jason is the assistant coach. they have had a great year so far. The players are: Alex, Landon, Jackson Hilliard, Gray Smith, Anna and Vincent Jaworski, Jack Baker, Hayden Henson, Josh Herring. As of now, their record is 4 - 0!
Christmas 2007
